The thinking is done before you open the ticket.

Plugboard works in the background, not in a chat box. When a ticket arrives or a requester replies, it prepares a brief, triage and a reply draft grounded in your own records. AI suggestions are labelled, with review and undo where supported.

  • Prepared, not requested.

A brief, suggested fields and a draft are waiting when the ticket opens, and a wrap-up note when it is solved.

  • Same issue, handled once.

Eligible same-person duplicates can merge in auto mode, with one-click unmerge. Review related reports together as one incident.

  • One-button routine work.

Access requests arrive knowing the groups, licences and free seats. Joiner and leaver runbooks come from the SIS for approval.

  • It knows the page.

Ask about the person or repair in front of you, and the answer highlights the matching records.

  • You set how far it goes.

Off, shadow, suggest or auto for each feature. Auto unlocks only after a proven accuracy record, and never for identity.

More work resolved.

AI works through the queue in the background, so your team starts with the context, the suggested next step and a reply already drafted.

Choose what stays a suggestion and what can run automatically. Eligible triage earns auto mode through a proven accuracy record at your school.

  1. Triage on arrival

Classify the request, suggest priority and connect the relevant person and device. Apply eligible fields automatically when auto mode is enabled.

  2. Prepare the next move

Read the conversation, find similar solved tickets and draft a reply from your school’s knowledge. Your technician reviews and sends it.

  3. Handle repeat work once

Eligible same-person duplicates can merge automatically. Related reports can become one incident, while approved device fixes and access runbooks carry out routine work.

  4. Make the resolution reusable

When a technician resolves a ticket, prepare the wrap-up note and a knowledge-base draft so the next answer does not start from scratch.

Questions we get first.

Do we have to use your ticketing?

No. Ticketing is optional. Repairs, loans, devices and the portals work with it off. Connectors include Zendesk, Freshservice and Web Help Desk; Jira Service Management workflows are planned. See the connector catalogue for each provider’s scope and status.

Does it connect to our student system?

Roster sync runs from Synergetic, Sentral, Compass, SEQTA, TASS or Schoolbox, and Entra or Google show the account state beside each person.

Where does our data live?

Managed hosting is a server per school in Australia, with encrypted backups in the same region. Or run the same software on your own server for 15% less. Hosted AI is the exception: pseudonymised text is processed by DigitalOcean in the United States. Where AI runs has the detail.

What does it cost?

A$250 a month on annual billing, with two technicians and up to 2,000 devices. Each extra technician is A$60 a month. Self-hosted is 15% less. Prices exclude GST, and the calculator is on the pricing page.

How much can AI handle automatically?

With AI enabled, Plugboard prepares triage, briefs and reply drafts in the background. Eligible triage and duplicate handling can run automatically after the feature earns auto mode. Reply drafts still need a person to send them, and identity actions require approval. The new resolution-confirmation review is in preview and needs a technician to close the ticket. Explore the workflows and controls.

Can we try it first?

Yes. Open the live demo with no sign-up, and take a 30-day free trial on your own school before the first invoice. A 15-minute walkthrough covers your devices and your student system.

See it run on your numbers.

Fifteen minutes on your device count, your student system and the workflow you want fixed, with a 30-day trial to follow.
